Encountering God through worship is at the heart of our life together at Riverside. We believe that in order to live out your faith in the world and daily life, vital and life-transforming worship is essential. Our worship is a blend of both contemporary and traditional and helps us discover the joy of following Jesus. We observe communion at every worship service and everyone is welcome at the communion table. Whether a long time follower, a returning explorer, or a new seeker of faith, come worship with us.
Sunday schedule
On Sunday’s we offer two similar worship services of approximately one hour. Each service features the minister’s sermon, prayer, Bible readings, singing of hymns, and communion. Both Sunday services are held in the sanctuary located on the second floor. There is no dress code for either worship service, since we understand that fashion is a personal expression of style and not a reflection of faith.
8:30 a.m. - Worship |
Each week a member of our congregation shares a part of their Christian testimony, helping us all encounter God in our daily lives. We end this service by gathering at the front of the church for communion, standing hand-in-hand embraced in God’s love as we share together. |
9:45 a.m. Sunday Education |
We offer classes for pre-school age through adults, and nursery care for our littlest ones. |
10:50 a.m. - Worship |
At this service we experience a blend of both the traditional and the contemporary, reflecting a variety of liturgical and musical styles. We also share a special time with the children, and then they are offered the opportunity to participate in a worship time designed just for them. |
Noon - Afterglow |
Afterglow - a time of fellowship and refreshments, available in the Fellowship Hall on the first floor. |
Nursery care is provided for all Sunday events.
