Children and Worship
Children are welcome in worship. Parents are encouraged to teach children about worship by providing them the experience of worship. Just as children learn to talk by listening to others talk, they learn to worship by being with worshippers. In addition, they often teach adults by the joy they bring to worship.

Children’s Moment is part of the 10:50 a.m. Sunday morning worship service. Children are brought from the Toddler and Pre-kindergarten areas to join the children already in the sanctuary. They are invited to come forward to the front of the sanctuary to hear a special message designed for them. This shared time helps children experience the presence of God.
Nursery and Pre-K care is provided for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers while parents are in worship.
Children’s Worship Hour is a worship time specially designed for the worship and learning needs of children. For Kindergarten through 2nd grade children, the Worship Hour experience is held during the 10:50 a.m. service, September through May. Children who wish to participate in the Worship Hour program leave the sanctuary with the Worship Hour leader following the Children’s Moment. Children meet their parents in Fellowship Hall at the close of the 10:50 a.m. service.
All children are welcome to share with their parents in the full worship service at any time.
