Adult Groups and Ministries

Like most people, you are probably interested in deepening your spiritual life.  Spending time experiencing, studying, and reflecting on God’s presence in the world and in our lives is one way Christians deepen our faith journey.  Participating in fellowship groups and outreach ministries can also deepen our relationship with God. 

There are many ways to become involved in the life of this congregation – both through fellowship groups and ministries, and through community outreach.  Our ministry teams have planned a full schedule of activities.  Below you will find a listing of groups and activities that the congregation hosts.  We invite you to contact the church office to get more information about a specific group, or speak with one of the pastors or lay leaders.

• Senior Saints – a monthly fellowship and study group for our senior members

 

• Parents’ Night Out (PNO) – a monthly fellowship group for parents

• Ladies’ Night Out – a monthly fellowship group for women of all ages

• Adult Chancel Choir – meets weekly to prepare to share their musical gifts in Sunday worship

• Riverside on Wednesdays (ROW) – most Wednesday evenings, September through May, we gather for dinner, classes, choir and activities for children, youth and adults

• Women’s Bible Study – bi-weekly Wednesday afternoon study group for women of all ages

• Adult Education – study classes for adults on Sunday mornings and at other times during the week

• Disciples Women – a monthly group for fellowship, study, and service for women of the church

• Emmaus Reunion Group – a bi-weekly group for spiritual nurture and support of those who have participated in an Emmaus Walk

• Walk to Emmaus – a spiritual renewal weekend for adults
