Welcome to the website for Riverside Avenue Christian Church. Located in the heart of the Riverside-Avondale community, we are a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the oldest denomination to have its beginning roots in North America. We are a welcoming congregation that celebrates the love of God and the diversity of humanity. As we extend Christian hospitality to all, we gather as a community to engage in life-changing worship, to seek faith with understanding, and to engage in service to the world. 

 

Don't have all the answers? That's okay - neither do we. But we believe that together we are able to seek a deeper understanding of God through Jesus Christ. We strive to be a place where people who have not found a faith community can grow together into deeper spirituality as they learn, pray, serve and share the good news of God’s redemptive love. So whether you are just exploring the Christian faith or have been part of the church your entire life, we invite you to join us on a journey of faith.
